I need a vacation. Yes, I said it. Honestly, I don’t know about you people but I could really use a long, relaxing vacation soon (very soon). I mean, vacations are covetous, right? If it was up to me, I’d be sprawled on a beach somewhere with my family or friends or both. And no, I’m not a beach-over-mountain person or vice versa, I’m just a water person. Take me anywhere near a water body and I’m home. So, when I came across these pictures from Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor’s Maldives holiday, a part of me just wanted to be there. Of course, not with them, or the many other Bollywood celebs who I might bump into there, but just there!
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor recently took to their Instagram accounts to share their Maldives vacation pictures with their followers and they’re enough to give you a major case of FOMO.
Shahid Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, and their kids—Misha and Zain—jetted off to one of Bollywood’s most visited vacation spots: The Maldives. In the last two weeks, the couple has been sharing glimpses of their vacation, and just by the looks of it, it seems they’ve had time to themselves to relax and unwind.

In fact, Shahid Kapoor recently took to his Instagram account and summed up his experience by sharing a picture of him and his two kids. The picture was taken by his wife, Mira Kapoor and he captioned it “THIS is a holiday. Nothing but those you love around. And nature. No phone no nothing. And you finally remember what really matters. You need nothing to be happy. Literally NOTHING is what you need, to be happy…. @mira.kapoor thanks for this amazing memory.”

Mira Kapoor too shared quite a few glimpses of the family trip, from sunkissed selfies to a video of her practicing yoga on the beach. In one of her posts, she wrote a farewell note to the place and said, “On a small Maldivian island, I now have a place to call home. …I will never forget the way I FELT right here in this photograph. Joy; as the sun set on one side of the sandbank and the moon rose on the other and my kids played dodgeball with the friends they made. And that is what means everything to me. …Leaving with a few more kilos and bag full of memories ❤️”

Seeing Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor enjoying their stay in the Maldives is giving me weekend blues and has me craving for a vacation!
