Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shuts Down Hater Who Called Her “Divorced” And “Ruined”

A lot of people think that what a woman chooses to do in her personal and professional life. And I believe this scrutiny is more intense when a woman chooses to get a divorce. Somehow she is shamed for the marriage not working out or walking away in the first place. And the more a woman is in the public eye, the more scope there is for scrutiny. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been an object of speculation and unnecessary commentary for a while now. She recently responded to a troll in a classy but very befitting manner.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has garnered a lot of uncalled for hate and comments especially after her recent divorce with her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. Samantha is known for not entertaining trolls and giving befitting replies when necessary. So it was no surprise when she responded to a hater on Twitter. The now deleted tweet said, “@Samanthaprabhu2 is a divorced ruined second-hand item who has 50 crores tax-free money robbed from a gentleman!”

Samantha clearly did not take the troller seriously as she responded with, “Kamarali Dukandar God bless your soul.” She sure handled that with much more grace than I ever would have. Samantha and her ex-husband announced their divorce in October. Since then she has had to slammed down many trolls and haters. There were also rumours of her having an affair or abortion which she quickly shut down, according to reports.

I don’t understand the mentality behind the entitlement people feel to comment on someone this disrespectfully, more importantly on their personal life or choices. I genuinely am impressed with how calmly Samantha Ruth Prabhu handled this person. With how venomous their words were, I feel most of us wouldn’t be able to keep the grace that she did.
