I think we can give it to Ranveer Singh for being the biggest cheerleader for his wife and actress Deepika Padukone. I mean just like the rest of us, Bollywood’s Bajirao is deeply and truly mesmerised by the charm of his Mastani and a proof of that was his recent gup shup session with fans. Talking about his epic Sunidhi Chauhan playlist, dancing to the beats of “Beedi Jalai Le” and praising Saif Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh’s super random Instagram live turned out to be quite interesting for DP and SRK fans. Yes, that’s right! Sharing an update about Deepika Padukone, Ranveer told his live audience about her song in Pathaan, for which the Gehraiyaan actress has been prepping in Spain’s Mallorca. Giving away some deets about the film, Ranveer shared “My wife is out of town. She is in Spain shooting for this big actioner for Yash Raj with ‘the king’ Shah Rukh Khan and ‘sexy sexy’ John Abraham… I have heard the song, it’s amazing. It’s got that feel.”

Ranveer further shared some insider khabber, and said how ‘wifey’ DP has been ‘scorching it’ for the ‘glamorous song.’ Composed by music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar, the song is being choreographed by Yash Raj film’s closest ally Vaibhavi Merchant. Talking about the latter, Ranveer shares his excitement about Deepika’s first collaborative experience with Vaibhavi Merchant, who he previously had worked in Band Baaja Baaraat (oh boy, what a film thou).
Styled by Deepika’s personal stylist– Shaleena Nathani, Ranveer also disclosed how gorgeous DP is looking and said, “Super fit and super glamorous. Shaleena (Nathani) is styling her. I have seen a sneak peek and it looks like aag lag jayegi screen pe.” He further revealed how Deepika has been praising John’s ‘hot-hot’ body. Now that Ranveer has spilt quite a lot of tea, we can’t wait for Deepika’s song to grace our screens.
