‘Ram Setu’ Trailer: What’s With The Women Hardly Having Any Dialogues In This Akshay Kumar Starrer?
With a tonne of content releasing on screens, this year has been nothing less than exciting for all the entertainment and movie buffs out there. Joining the list of must-watch is another movie that is based on epic mythology, Ramayana. Yep, I’m talking about Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu. The action-adventure movie that is set to release during Diwali revolves around the famous bridge built by Lord Ram when he was on his way to rescue Sita from the holds of Ravana. After getting teased by snippets of the movie, the trailer for Ram Setu is out and the movie starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and others looks quite promising.
On October 11, the makers of Ram Setu dropped its trailer and having watched it, I can say that it definitely has a lot of potential and looks quite promising. The movie directed by Abhishek Sharma stars Akshay Kumar, Satya Dev, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nasser, Pravesh Rana, and Jennifer Piccinato.

The trailer shows Akshay Kumar playing an atheist archaeologist-turned-believer who is given the task of proving the existence of the legendary Ram Setu before the “evil” government destroys it. The trailer also explains what seems to be the gist of the story – the evil characters are on a mission to destroy the bridge built by Lord Ram and it is Akshay and his team that have to prove not just its existence but also save themselves from becoming the targets in a big scheme.

The trailer of Ram Setu doesn’t exactly specify who the bad guys are but shows Akshay Kumar walking on water with what seems to be the evidence that proves the existence of the bridge that Lord Ram had built. In the trailer, we only see snippets of Jacquline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, but I’m hoping that the two of them will have much more pivotal roles in the movie – especially the former as she is on Akshay’s team for the expedition.
Ram Setu is set to release on October 25 in theatres near you.
