Television actress Pooja Banerjee and hubby Sandeep Sejwal were expecting a baby and the word is that the couple has welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Saturday morning in Mumbai. The Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 actress’ brother Neil Banerjee confirmed the news while speaking to a news portal.

Speaking to Times Of India, Neil shared that the family is in Nagpur and are ‘extremely thrilled’ with the news addition in their family. Sharing that they are all in ‘celebratory mode’, Neil said that Sandeep Sejwal and his mother are with Pooja Banerjee right now at the hospital in Mumbai. He further added that they cannot wait to see the baby and will be visiting his sister soon. The Kumkum Bhagya actress had earlier told TOI about her plans after giving birth.

In a conversation with the news portal last month, Pooja had shared that after the baby is born, the couple will travel to Delhi to share their joy with their extended family. The actress had said that she would love to have more people around to bless their bundle of joy and shower the baby with love.

Pooja Banerjee had also shared her excitement to share the joy with her extended family, more so as she comes from a nuclear family. “Because right from my dadi saas to saas, so many people would be there for me and the baby. For them, it is a big thing and I want to give them the joy of being there for the baby. Then I can resume work peacefully as well,” Pooja Banerjee told TOI.
