Nikita Dutta Shares How Her Phone Was Snatched; Alerts Everyone

In the midst of all the gruesome crimes that are taking place against women and children, we often forget the crimes that take place on a daily basis. Yep, I’m talking about crimes like pickpocketing, chain snatching, phone snatching, etc. But every now and then we’re reminded of them when some or the other person shares their experience. Take the instance of actress Nikita Dutta who took to her social media accounts to share how her phone was snatched by men on a bike. In fact, she even goes ahead and asks people to be aware of such bike thieves.

Actress Nikita Dutta took to her social media accounts on November 29th, 2021 to share with her followers the “traumatic” experience she had when her phone was snatched by bike thieves. She hopes that her experience will help others to be more careful and aware of their surroundings.

In her post, Nikita Dutta shared how was walking on the 14th road in Bandra, Mumbai at 7:45 pm when she was suddenly tapped by two men on a bike. The tap disoriented her for some time and the passenger riding behind grabbed her phone and zoomed off. The entire experience was extremely traumatic for her.

Nikita Dutta also mentioned that it happened all too fast and by the time she collected herself the bikers were far gone. She even added that people nearby were kind enough to come to her aid. In fact, the Dybbuk actress said that a man on a two-wheeler tried following the bike thieves who stole her phone but it was all in vain. The entire episode left her with a lot of rage and helplessness that gave her a panic attack.

Later, when the Bollywood actress calmed down with the help of people around, she went to the police station and filed a complaint against them. She concluded by saying that she shared her experience to raise awareness among people.

And truly, such a thing can happen with any and everyone. And to ensure this does not happen to you, you need to be more aware of your surroundings and your belongings. Taking a bit of precaution will go a long way.
