For those of you who are movie/TV buffs but for some reason cannot keep a check on the latest movie updates, do not worry, we have got you covered. ICYMI, Netflix Geeked Week has begun, and it is that time of the year when the streaming giant drops the news on some of its upcoming titles, from first looks and trailers to release dates and cast interactions. This is the second year of Netflix’s Geeked Week, so we know that it can get pretty exciting, especially if you, like me, are a binge fan. Day of Geeked Week was all about horror, if you ask me. From Guillermo del Torro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities to Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Club, and the new seasons of Shadow & Bone, Umbrella Academy and Warrior Nun, we got the dope on all that’s coming!
Here’s everything that was announced at Netflix Geeked Week 2022:
Masters of the Universe: Revelation
The official teaser of the Masters of the Universe: Revelation by executive producer Kevin Smith was released on Day 4 of the Netflix Geeked Week. The first part of the cult classic is set to release on July 23, 2022.
Twilight of the Gods
Twilight of the Gods, an animated take on Norse mythology, directed by Zack Snyder does not have a trailer yet, although the list of its amazing all-star voice cast was released by Netflix.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness
A glimpse of the opening scenes from the animated series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness was introduced by the two voice star-cast of the series- Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello. The investigative series is all set to release on July 8, 2022.
Shaman King
The anime written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei, Shaman King is due to be released on August 9. The official trailer was released and it looks promising.

Edens Zero
The official trailer of Edens Zero illustrated and written by Hiro Mashim comes with a release date which is August 26. This space fantasy from the creator of Fairy Tail will be fun to watch.

Bright: Samurai Soul
A glimpse of Bright: Samurai Soul’s first look, directed by Kyohei Ishiguro was released. We do not have much on it except a picture.

Transformers: War of Cybertron: Kingdom
The final season of the Transformers: War of Cybertron trilogy- Kingdom is all set to release on July 29. We do not have any trailers yet, however, some amazing photos were released, giving us a sneak peek of what is coming in the final chapter.

Exception
A creepy image for the horror-thriller Exception was released by Netflix. The space horror story is by Hirotaka Adachi and the characters are designed by Yoshitaka Amano.

The Loud House Movie
The exclusive teaser of The Loud House Movie based on the Nickelodeon family series was released. The loved family drama is due on August 20.

Entergalactic’s First Look
Kid Cudi and Kenya Barris’s animated series Entergalactic first look was released on Day 3 of the Netflix Geeked Week. It looks stunning honestly. The trailer looks so stylish and fun, also we get the list off the voice-over cast in this first look. The release date has not been announced yet but it is expected to come this fall.
Dragon Prince Season 4 trailer
The popular animated series Dragon Prince is back with its fourth season, the last season was released in 2019. The new season- Mystery of the Aaravos, directed by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond looks equally promising, however, there is no release date yet.
A Picture from Skull Island
Love King Kong? There is an anime spinoff of Kong- Skull Island that Netflix had announced last year. While there is no teaser or trailer released yet, Netflix does provide us with a picture of an island with a giant footprint, probably representing Kong.

First look of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners which is an anime spinoff for Cyberpunk 2077, the first trailer was finally released by Netflix. It is expected to drop this September.
Junji Ito Project Announced
Junji Ito, a writer known for his horror creations is all set to bring in a new animated series on Netflix, and the announcement for the same was announced on Day 3. A video of Junji Ito talking about the work which is in progress was released by Netflix. It will release in 2023 and is titled Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre
Troll teaser released
On the Day 2 of the Geeked Week, Netflix announced a thriller monster movie Troll. We do not get to see much of what is coming, but the trailer gives an eerie and gritty feeling, and yes some adventurous escapes from the monster too!
Day Shift BTS Video
Netflix gave us a glimpse of the behind the scene shoot of Day Shift, a vampire comedy. The lead role is played by Jamie Fox who goes on hunting vampires at night but has a regular job of cleaning pools during the day. This is going to be an interesting one. There are no trailers yet but the film is set to release on August 12, 2022.
Sea Beasts trailer looks quite beasty
Loved Moana and Big Hero 6? I am sure you did because director Chris Williams is back with a new fun adventurous movie with sea monsters, Sea Beasts. The trailer has jam-packed action and thrilling sea adventures., and there is a cute little creature as well. It will be released on July 8th.
Blasted trailer video
There is a lot to take in from the new trailer video of Blasted, actually, the name has been aptly chosen. The quick glimpse of the movie starts with a peaceful wedding scene and suddenly takes you to the scene where alien invasions are happening. Be ready for a movie where a bunch of guys fights the aliens with laser guns. The super fun movie will release on June 28. There is also a tagline in the movie that says “Bros before UFOs”.
A Glimpse of John Peele’s Wendall And Wild
John Peele’s Wendall And Wild is an animated tale that will have some paranormal activities too. Also, I liked the background score in the beginning of the teaser, builds the suspense perfectly. It is set to premiere in October on Netflix.

Gray-Man, An Extension Video
The Gray Man’s trailer had created a buzz among movie lovers and has become one of the highly awaited movies. Also, we will get to see Dhanush making his Hollywood debut with this one. On the Day 2 of Geeked Week, an extension video of Gray Man was released. Chris Evans and Ryan Goslings’ action drama will release on Netflix on July 22. The new extension video has increased the hype even more.
The first teaser of The School For Good And Evil
The first look of The School for Good and Evil, a fantasy thriller looks interesting. It is directed by Paul Feig. The movie does not have a release date yet but is expected to come this fall.
Spiderhead Trailer
Spiderhead’s first trailer was strange and unsettling, and a new extended clip shows how this sci-fi prison experiments on its inmates in greater detail. The movie will make its debut on June 17th.
Resident Evil Series, 2022
Are you ready for a bloody action thriller with monstrous creatures? Gross, but we’re looking forward to the new Resident Evil season, which appears to have unleashed some deadly and evil creatures this time. Netflix released a trailer of the series and it is all set to premiere on July 14.

The Midnight Club by Mike Flanagan
Mike Flanagan is known for acing the horror genre. I am sure you must have watched some of his amazing directorial ventures, like Hush, Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of the Hill House, or his latest, Midnight Mass. If not, keep these for the weekend watch because the teaser of Flanagan’s new series The Midnight Club has been released, and it looks promising. The miniseries is set to release on October 7, 2022
The Addams Family spinoff Wednesday Teaser Released
Da da da dum, clap clap! We got our first look at Tim Burton’s Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams! The release dates has not been revealed yet but it is “coming soon”. Also, just expect something unexpected from this one.
One Piece BTS Teaser Released
The new One Piece video does not give us what is coming, but the teaser showing the making of its grand set and art design is enough to hype you up in the action thriller.
The Sandman gets a release date on Netflix
Not a drill, we have a release date for The Sandman! It is an adaptation of the graphic novels by Neil Gaiman. The trailer will give you very dark and gloomy vibes, and you will definitely look forward to this thriller drama. Us? We’re excited for Jenna Coleman’s Johanna Constantine!
Locke And Key returns with its final season
This is my personal favourite. Who doesn’t want magical keys, right? I had started to wonder what key I would have made while watching the first two seasons, and the teaser for Locke And Key Season 3 is already here. The siblings are ready to take on a deadlier journey, with surely some more new magical keys against a more cruel villain.
Manifest Season 4 trailer released
Manifest, a supernatural drama is coming back with its fourth season on Netflix. The series will be released in two parts with 10 episodes each.
Warrior Nun Season 2 teaser dropped
The mysterious magical and dark series Warrior Nun is all set to be back with its second season. The series will release this winter.
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2
Fate: The Winx Saga is based on the adaptation of Nickelodeon’s Winx Club and the first look of its second season was released.

1899 Teaser and BTS video released
The makers of Dark are coming back with another mind-bending thriller 1899, and the teaser for the series was released. Another video giving us a sneak peek from its behind-the-shoot fun was also released along with the teaser. The excitement is beyond space and time! Can we travel to the future already?
Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities Teaser
This upcoming anthology series will feature the most revered horror creators of today, including the directors of The Babadook, Splice, Mandy, and many more. It will include 8 gripping episodes and has a cast that is *chef’s kiss*, including Ben Barnes and Rupert Grint!
The Imperfects Teaser
Teaser of The Imperfects, an interesting and adventurous sci-fi thriller with demonic creatures was also released. It will star Italia Ricci, Iñaki Godoy, Morgan Taylor Campbell, Rhianna Jagpal, and Rhys Nicholson.
Sweet Tooth Season 2
A wrap-up video for the Sweet Tooth Season 2 was also released, and yes, Robert Downey Jr. was in it! So we now know the sweetest series about an apocalypse is officially set to return with its second season, soon!
The Umbrella Academy Trailer Released
