We all know about Kate Winslet and Leonardo’s adorable friendship. Time and time again, the Titanic duo express their love for each other and let me tell you, the love between them is deeper than any ocean. Recently, the Oscar-winning actress revealed that she’s “bonded for life” with her co-star and close friend Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Ammonite actress shared that she recently caught up with Leonardo DiCaprio in Los Angeles after almost three years because of COVID-19 lockdowns. Talking about their reunion, Kate Winslet said that she couldn’t stop crying because she had known him for half of her life. She continued, “It’s not as if I’ve found myself in New York or he’s been in London and there’s been a chance to have dinner or grab a coffee and a catch up. We haven’t been able to leave our countries. Like so many friendships globally, we’ve missed each other because of COVID.” We totally get you, Kate, we also missed our friends! 

She called the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor a “really close friend,” and added, “We’re bonded for life.” Kate Winslet met Leonardo DiCaprio in the ’90s while working on their classic film Titanic. They teamed up again for the film Revolutionary Road. They played a married couple who is struggling with their relationship. Talking about the film Titanic, Winslet said that she celebrated her 21st birthday on the sets, and Leo his 22nd. She admitted that it wasn’t pleasant for any of them but they were in it together. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio often reminisce about their time working on Titanic and quote the odd Titanic lines back and forth to each other. Aww, they both are so cute!
