One of the most vocal actresses in Bollywood right now is none other than Kangana Ranaut. She has an opinion about almost everything – especially about her choices and the thought process behind choosing the right project. The actress has never backed down from explaining her choices and hasn’t cared much about what people think about them. So when during promotions of her movie Dhaakad she was asked why doesn’t do item songs in movies or endorses fairness creams, Kangana Ranaut did not hold back. She looked back at her illustrious career and said that for 20 years of it she hadn’t spoken much because she had not reached a certain level. However, things are different now.

Kangana Ranaut who is still busy promoting her movie Dhaakad was recently asked as to why she doesn’t do item songs nor endorses fairness cream, the actress said that things were different went she was a newcomer and was just starting off but now she has reached a point in the industry where she can take a stand and so she does.

Over the span of her career, the actress said that she has never associated with an act or a label where she has to compromise. Hence, she never went ahead and did an item song or promote fairness creams. Furthermore, Kangana Ranaut said that she had been silent for 20 years but then she reached a point in the industry where she started talking about such subjects.
