Jamie Lever’s ‘Tapori’ Makeup Tutorial Gave Our Cheeks A Natural Flush From All The Laughing!
If you even spend half as much of your time on Instagram as much as I do, then you’d know that these days most of the people on the photo-sharing app are beauty enthusiasts. While some like giving tips and reviews on their favourite beauty products, others end up making beauty tutorials that can be easily followed by newbies like me. But what makes the people in the latter section stand out – is how they present their tutorials to the world. And while there are some really good beauty influencers on Instagram, my recent favourite has to be the one and the only Jamie Lever. Yep, the daughter of Johnny Lever has many times gone viral on social media for her hilarious reels and this time is no different. The only exception to it is the fact that this time Jamie Lever has chosen to try her hand at beauty tutorials and to say it was pretty and funny at the same time would be to state the obvious.
On August 2, Jamie Lever took to Instagram to share yet another hilarious reel but this time she’s chosen beauty as her weapon to be funny. In the video she posted, the actress-content creator can be seen applying makeup step-by-step but it is the voice-over that has me laughing out loud. Sharing the hilarious beauty tutorial reel, Jamie Lever wrote, “Ekdum RAaVASSS MAKEUP Tutorial Tapori version! EnJWOYY🤪🤪 I’ll update product list here soon 🙏🏽🙏🏽”

In the ‘tapori’ makeup tutorial video, Jamie Lever explains how one needs to first start off by lathering some cereme (cream) on to your face and then move on to apply very little of the “mehenga” foundation which has to be blended with “pink colour ka kuch toh”. She then goes on to the next step which is to apply the contellar aka contour.
And once you’re done with that, Jamie Lever suggests using something like a black brush to keep your eyebrows in place. She then goes on to put on some orange and brown eyeshadow. After which she suggests y’all to “ghumao brush chehre pe” with powder to set your makeup in place”. Once done with that, use a “blusher” and apply pink and orange colours on your cheeks – this will give you a full Barbie girl vibe.
Lastly, finish the look up with lip liner, lipstick, mascara, and setting powder. Honestly, I’d give y’all a big kudos if you can finish watching the video without laughing, let alone doing the entire ‘tapori’ makeup.
