Gauahar Khan Threatens Fans Of Umar Riaz With Cyberbullying Complaint

Does anyone else have any guilty pleasures? I do, a lot of them, in fact. One of them is that I OCCASIONALLY (I promise, it is occasional. Don’t judge me, this only works if we are honest with each other.) like watching reality TV. Admittedly, I tend to lean towards the trainwreck of reality shows TLC presents to us every year but as we are all aware, we have a lot of reality shows on Indian television as well. Bigg Boss is one of the biggest reality shows we have in India and it has produced a lot of reality TV stars along with a lot of meme-worthy moments (throwback to “Pooja, what is this behaviour?” and the iconic, “Kya karu mein mar jau?”). Talking about meme-worthy moments, THE DRAMA! As much as I like to say that I dislike drama, I am the first person to listen to tea being spilt. Talking about tea, Gauahar Khan threatened fans of Umar Riaz with a cyberbullying complaint.

Actress Gauahar Khan threatened to complain against fans of Bigg Boss 15 contestant, Umar Riaz for cyberbullying her. She faced a lot of backlash for her opinion on the recent fight between Umar Riaz and Simba Nagpal. She seemed to have criticised Riaz which caught a lot of his fans’ negative attention. In a physical altercation that ended with Nagpal pushing Riaz in the pool, Gauahar Khan seemed to be against Umar Riaz. Her tweets about Riaz were as such:

Gauahar Khan even responded to fans and the bullies in question on Twitter:

Now, considering that Umar Riaz was the one who used foul language towards Simba Nagpal’s mother in the first place, I think Gauahar Khan speaking up against him isn’t completely invalid. However, I believe that people take the name “reality TV” for its namesake and hence take these shows way too seriously. Regardless of anything, these shows exist as a form of entertainment and should be treated as such without people going on Twitter rampages and bullying one another over the contestants.
