Ahead Of ‘Ms Marvel’ Release, Farhan Akhtar Writes Note Saying He Is Proud Of Its ‘Conscious Inclusiveness’
The upcoming Marvel series Ms Marvel is looked forward to by the Asian Marvel fans for a lot of reasons. One of them is the south-Asian representation that the series has gotten with the lead character being a Pakistani superheroine. Apart from this, fans are also gearing up to see Farhan Akhtar make his Hollywood debut with this series. Ahead of the release of Ms Marvel, he has taken to his social media handle to pen a heartfelt note for the makers. In his note, he has also highlighted how the series reflects diversity and inclusivity.
Farhan Akhtar’s Note For Ms Marvel’s Makers
Taking to his Twitter, Akhtar shared the poster of the series and also penned a note alongside it. His note read, ‘Tomorrow, 8th June, will see the release of the first episode of Ms Marvel on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar.” He further wrote this post is also an appreciation for the directors, makers and all those who have collaborated to make ‘Ms Marvel what it is’.

Elaborating on the inclusiveness of the show, Farhan Akhtar also wrote that this is an appreciation post for Marvel. He further added, “I’m proud to be part of their conscious inclusiveness. This show is a celebration of diversity and it certainly will bring joy and pride of self-identity to millions of young girls and boys of the sub-continent. And last but not least, it is in appreciation of the wonderfully talented Iman Vellani. Be prepared to be thoroughly entertained and effortlessly charmed by her.
