‘Succession’ Meets ‘Euphoria’ As Brian Cox Recreates Cassie’s Bathroom Meltdown Scene. We Declare ‘This Is Gold.’
Well, Euphoria season two has certainly ended, but its craze amongst fans has no stopping and I being a first-hand obsessive follower and observer of the show’s popularity, can assure you of that. Be it the makeup, styling or gripping storytelling, Euphoria is on its way to curate a cult-fan following or rather has already got one. But joining the Euphoria craze now is someone you would have never imagined. Yes, surprising us with a virtual, photo-shopped cameo in the infamous bathroom scene of the series’ second season, actor Brian Cox is the new Euphoria fan I never thought would join the gang.
Mouthing Cassie’s lines in the bathroom meltdown scene, the Succession star was spotted dressed up in a gingham shirt, over black pants with a huge beige cowboy hat giving himself the OG Oklahoma glow (not sure if that’s a compliment), Brian’s loud love confession accompanied by Cassie’s lines, “I’m in love with Nate Jacobs and he’s in love with me!…I have never, ever been happier,” has me laughing out loud. FYI, It all happened when Brian marked his presence on the popular Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday.

The 75-year old actor’s portrayal of Cassie in no time went viral on the internet and well, there’s no doubt about it being the most loved clip amongst the web parivaar too. A cross-over we certainly weren’t ready for, both Succession and Euphoria are HBO’s most popular shows currently and this re-creation is totally gold. Reacting to the video, Cassie AKA Sydney Sweeney too shared the clip on her Instagram story and wrote, “This is Amazing,” and I think I just wanna scream like Monia (Friends) “I know!”

Euphoria recently wrapped up its season two and is gearing up for the third instalment, while Succession season three’s finale episode aired in December.
