All of our taste in films and genres may vary but none of us can resist the temptation of a good Hindi-language mystery thriller. Considering thriller is my absolute favourite genre, I always have my eye out for all the thrilling new releases coming our way and the latest one that I have my eye on is Dobaaraa. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, written by Nihit Bhave and produced by Ekta Kapoor, this upcoming new-age thriller stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. It also stars Pavail Gulati, Nassar, Rahul Bhatt and Saswata Chatterjee. Ahead of the release of this much awaited thriller, the makers dropped the trailer of the film and it looks like a compelling drama. Based on the 2018 Spanish film Mirage, Dobaara is set to release in the theatres on 19 August.

When an electric storm returns after 26 years, a woman gets an opportunity to save the life of a 12-year-old boy who witnessed a death during the thunderstorm 26 years ago. But the mystery is connected to the current time through an old television set that mysteriously appears at the home of the woman. How will this television set help her communicate with the boy and travel back in time to save his life. This timeless mystery comes with several unanswered questions, mind-bending theories and a rollercoaster of emotions. Check out this intriguing trailer of Dobaaraa starring Taapsee Pannu.
