There Ain’t No Haseena Like You Taapsee Pannu And Can We Please Steal That Printed Saree?

Taapsee Pannu’s penchant for printed sarees is not a lesser-known fact. The actress’ Instagram handle is my go-to spot for when I am heading to shop some sprightful sarees. From dhoti drapes to cool ditsy patterns, there isn’t a style that Taapsee hasn’t tried. And her love for spring-favourite sarees has found a way out, in these new pictures.

Currently, on promotion duties for her upcoming film–Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee Pannu shared a bunch of pictures on her Instagram handle. She rounded up a look in a stunning, printed saree by label–Baise Gaba. The unique combination of two pattern variants comes on the label’s latest Khand cotton georgette saree. The drapes feature an exquisite jaal print in the shade of ink blue, accompanied by an elaborate border of marching elephants, and a geometric detail on the pallu. Embellished with beaded tassels, the drape on Taapsee came paired with a similar printed, sleeveless blouse.

The actress further teamed the look with her fail-proof recipe of oxidised jewellery, that incorporates a yellow-tinted neckpiece and statement ear studs. Diving deep into the colour theme of this entire look, Taapsee painted her lids with thick blue eyeliner and styled her curly tresses into a messy, low bun. As Ms Pannu allows her skin to breathe through Bombay’s humidity, she keeps her face makeup extremely simple and dewy with only a nude-coloured lip gloss.

For the promotional cycle of her upcoming release, Taapsee is trusting a ton of prints, in terms of her sartorial pairings. From halter-neckline silhouettes and co-ord sets to ethnic attires, print plays both the hero and heroine in each of her looks. This is also a great trick to transition from summer whites to monsoon style.

On the professional front, Taapsee Pannu will next be seen in Shabaash Mithu. The Haseen Dilruba actress has some exciting projects in her film kitty, one of which is Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
