From ‘The Little Mermaid’ To ‘Disenchanted’, Sneak Peeks From Disney’s D23 Expo Gave Us A Lot To Be Excited About!
Animated movies are a genre that most of us enjoy; in fact, I have yet to meet anyone who does not enjoy animated films. They are interesting, have cute and adorable characters, and have a storyline that is extremely valuable and worth watching. This genre appeals to people of all ages, from children to adults. And now, Disney, a well-known production house in this field, has given us a slew of films to look forward to. On the first day of the three-day Disney D23 Expo that happened on September 9, Friday saw the release of trailers for an exciting lineup of movies. This list is sure to include many of your favourites, ranging from The Little Mermaid Inside Out, and Disenchanted to Hocus Pocus 2.
The Little Mermaid Teaser
Oh the visuals, already living for it. A short teaser video of the movie The Little Mermaid was showcased on the first day of the Disney D23 Expo. It stars Halle Bailey as Ariel and is directed by Bob Marshall. In the teaser video, you can see the eye-soothing underwater visual. We also get a beautiful glimpse of Ariel AKA Bailey singing the song “Part of your world”. The movie has been scheduled to release in May 2023.
Inside Out 2 Announced
Okay, I am sure whenever there is a conversation about animes, Inside Out, has always been on everyone’s list. And to add to this excitement, the sequel of this movie has been announced. Inside Out 2 will be a sequel to the 2015 release that is still a hit among movie lovers. The movie will be directed by Kelsy Mann. In this sequel the main character, Riley will be shown as a grown-up, and let’s see how she deals with all her emotions now. We still have to wait for some time as the movie is scheduled to release in the year 2024.

Mufasa: Lion King Movie Announcement
The last Lion King movie released in 2019 was a super hit among the audience across the world. This time the new Lion King movie announced will revolve around the story of Mufasa and how he navigated his way to make his empire. There was a short video shown at the Disney D23 Expo in which the Mufasa was shown as a little cub who is an orphan standing alone in a desert. So this is basically a prequel to the life of Mufasa.

Elemental First Look
The first image of the movie Elemental was also presented at the event and it shows the characters of Ember and Wade. The movie’s release date has been set on June 16, 2023.

Wish
Disney announced the film Wish, and it is all set to come up next year. Gear up for a dreamy, magical Disney movie that will have a character of a star with the power to fulfill wishes The main character in this movie is named Asha, who is a teenage girl and lives in a kingdom, Rosas. The movie is said to be set even before the existence of Snow White.

First Glimpse Of Series Win Or Lose
The movie will be directed by a talented trio of Michael Yates, Carrie Hobson, and David Lally. It is an original Pixar series scheduled to be released in 2023.

Snow White Announced
Well, looks like these classic fairy tale stories still have a lot of creative inspiration in them. The Snow White movie was also announced on the first day of the Disney D23 Expo event. It will star Gal Gadot in the lead role and will be directed by Marc Webb. All set to be released in the year 2024, hold the excitement!

The Haunted Mansion First Look
Although, the first look was just for the ones present there at the event. The Haunted Mansion will be directed by Justin Simien and stars Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, and LaKeith Stanfield.

Disenchanted
Another beautiful trailer released on the first of the Disney and Pixar movies presentation was Disenchanted. The movie will be a sequel to Enchanted which was released in the year 2007. Get ready for a lot of magic, music, and maybe a “terribly wrong fairy tale life” which will star Amy Adams, Patrick Demsey, Maya Rudolph, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden.

Peter Pan And Wendy’s First Look
Peten Pan and Wendy is a novel written by J.M Barrie and the first look of the movie based on this novel was presented to the audience on the first day of the Disney D23 Expo. The film is announced to be released in 2023.

Hocus Pocus Trailer Released
Hocus Pocus 2 trailer was also released at the event. The second part looks more evil, dark, and fascinating, so look forward to seeing what the magical book has to unfold in this one. The movie stars, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are in pivotal roles and are all set to release on September 30.
