‘Code Name Tiranga’ Teaser: Parineeti Chopra’s Spy Avatar Looks Badass, And We’re Eager To See More
The Indian film industry is warming up to the genre of espionage thrillers. A good lot of films in that genre have gone on to become hits as well. Well, fans of such films are in for a treat as another movie in the same beat is around the corner. The movie is titled Code Name: Tiranga and stars Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu in the lead roles. It is helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Reliance Entertainment. The teaser of Code Name: Tiranga has been dropped and from the looks of it, fans will get to see Parineeti in a whole new avatar!

The 47-second-long teaser video starts with a voice-over announcing that their chopper is going to land in Afghanistan. The next scenes are a montage of military tanks and cars swerving, Parineeti and Harrdy enjoying some time together. The tagline, ‘A mission begins for the nation’s pride’ also flashes across the screen.

What follows next in the teaser is a series of action-packed sequences where guns are loaded, enemies getting their arms broken and conspiracies take place. One of the stills in the teaser also shows a glimpse of Sharad Kelkar who appears to be on the bad guy’s side. There is one scene where Parieenti Chopra kicks a bad guy and very coolly unloads a gun magazine while retrieving another to reload it!

The official synopsis of the film reads as this is a story of a spy who is on a mission to save the nation in a race against time and she can only make it through by making huge sacrifices. Parineeti Chopra will be seen in a very different light in this film. Her rugged and raw look, plus her action sequences are what are looking forward to seeing. Additionally, it is the first time that she is being paired opposite Harrdy Sandhu so, their chemistry has also piqued our curiosity. Code Name: Tiranga hits theatres on October 14, 2022.
