‘Mismatched’ S2 Trailer: Expect A Lot Of Drama, Fun, Complications As Rishi, Dimple And Gang Face New Challenges
Well, college romances do not really look like what they show in series or movies, it is a lot blander in reality with no thrill whatsoever. Well, I believe that this is one reason why we like watching such shows and they are kind of a guilty pleasure, to me at least. And talking about college romances, the series Mismatched really did a great job in appealing to the audience, more because of the lead couple played by Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf. The audience had to wait really long for the next season, considering the fact that we were left on a cliffhanger with the last kissing scene, but the continuity is finally here. The makers have given us the trailer for the second season of Mismatched. The first glance at it will make you realise that there is a lot of drama and fun coming your way, and yes the coffee makes an appearance too but with a twist.

Mismatched 2, directed by Akarsh Khurana will see the return of the original cast, with of course some new students in the college. Prajakta Koli as Dimple and Rohit Saraf as Rishi will be back to charm us again, but umm, maybe not as a couple this time? Apart from these leads, we have the other star cast too like Ranvijay Singh, Vihaan Samat, Taaruk Raina, Devyani Shorey, Muskkaan Jaferi, Kritika Bharadwaj, Abhinav Sharma, Vidya Malavade. Even the Mismatched 2 trailer starts with the spilling of coffee, but, this time it is on Dimple and any guesses who throws it? Yes, it is Rishi but he does not do this intentionally. The trailer moves forward to give us a glance at the confrontation between Dimple (Prajakta) and Harsh ( Vihaan Samat) about their kiss. The trailer also does a fair job of giving us the major highlights of what is to come in the second season. For example, a new girl named Sanskriti might end up in a potential relationship with Rishi. Then there is of course a cold war happening between Rishi and Dimple and looks like they are not getting a chance to sort out their problems because life keeps throwing something new at them.

From the trailer, we can also anticipate Dimple’s character going through some mental health issues due to stress and she is receiving a great amount of support from Harsh, yeah not Rishi. The Mismatched Season 2 has got us all hyped up because the students are going to face new complications in friendship, love, and college. Will the students be successful in getting the love they are looking for in this new season? Only time will tell. Also, Mismatched season 2 will premiere on Netflix on October 14, 2022.

I am looking forward to seeing how the writers have played with the same old themes from the first season like love, friendships, and cold wars. Hoping that it will not have a storyline that will be deliberately dragged with no depth whatsoever.
