Amber Heard’s Insurance Company Refuses To Pay Her Legal Damages, Says Johnny Depp Was Maliciously Defamed

Well, I feel the same thing about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation case, I know for a fact that it is not going to end any time soon. The latest update on this defamation case is that the insurance company of Amber Heard has refused to cover the damage money that she owes to her ex-partner as she willfully tried to defame him. That is quite surprising, to be honest!

Actress Amber Heard’s insurance company – New York Marine and General Insurance Company reportedly refused to pay the damage money that the Aquaman actress owes to Johnny Depp. The company stated that she willfully and maliciously defamed Depp. On Friday, the New York Marine and General Insurance Company filed a suit against Amber Heard in the US District Court for the Central District of California. According to the reports, Heard had a $1 million liability policy with the insurance company, with which she could have paid a portion of the damages to the Pirates of the Caribbean actor but now, the insurance team will not pay the money as she willfully tried to defame Depp. The insurance company also stated that ‘an insurer is not liable for a loss caused by the willful act of the insured’, as per reports.

For the unversed, the jury stated that both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamed each other. The jury also ordered Heard to pay $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages to her ex-partner and awarded $ 2 million in compensatory damages to her.
