‘Hautesteppers 3.0’ Ep 10: Ghazal Alagh Spills The Tea About The Sharks In ‘Shark Tank India’
Shark Tank India took over the country in 2021. With people quoting everything the Sharks said and all the memes it gave birth to, the show was clearly a huge success. And just like the show itself, the Sharks: Ashneer Grover, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Ghazal Alagh, and Anupam Mittal. And in episode 10 of Hautesteppers 3.0, Ghazal Alagh spoke about everything Mamaearth, her journey to success, and her fellow Sharks.

When asked to speak about her fellow Sharks, Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh had a lot to spill. She said that boAt founder Aman Gupta is a complete “Bollywood keeda” and can quote random dialogues as he likes. Sounds like a hoot, if you ask me. Ghazal further said that the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar has the best cook. She said that SUGAR founder Vineeta Singh is an extremely warm and friendly person. She said that Vineeta makes people feel comfortable around her.

Ghazal went ahead and also discussed Shaadi.com and Makaan.com founder Anupam Mittal. She said that he is calm and sorted. She said that he is measured in what he says and how much he says. Ghazal said that co-founder and CEO of Lenskart Peyush Bansal is always on his phone and is hard to separate from it. Lastly, Ghazal discussed managing director and BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover saying that he is exactly the way he comes across on the show. He is straightforward and doesn’t take anyone’s bullshit.

It is very interesting to see Ghazal Alagh’s perspective of each of the Sharks. While they were very entertaining to watch on show, knowing about these aspects of who they are outside of Shark Tank and their careers was fascinating to see.
