Celebrities are always in the public eye. From personal to professional, people love to scrutinise them for everything. Even, how they raise their children. Some people, the trolls actually, start behaving like nosy relatives who have no other purpose in life than to find fault in the celebs’ affairs. A very recent example of it was when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posted a picture in which she can be seen kissing her daughter Aaradhya on the lips. It was a birthday post for the kid, but the trolls ruined it with their unwanted comments criticising the actress for this gesture. Why trolls, why?

Now, this controversy reminded me once again of how people are constantly behind the celebs to teach them how to raise a child. Is it really your business? A sweet birthday post, in which the mother has expressed her love for the child, with a lovely picture was judged and misconstrued in various ways. The trolls condemned Aishwarya for kissing her daughter who apparently is now no longer a little child, but in her growing years, as per the trolls. Do these people fail to understand that the picture was symbolic of the adorable bond shared between the mother and daughter? There were also people who mentioned that kissing a daughter on the lips is not etiquette. Umm, then to be fair, even trying to meddle with other’s people’s business is not really etiquette.

A few years back, Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt shared a kiss for a magazine, and that too was harshly criticised by the people. And now, the same is happening with Aishwarya and Aaradhya. It is a hard fact that no matter what, people will take the entitlement of judging a celeb’s life, but is it essential? How somebody wants to raise their child is again a choice, that nobody else has the right to interfere with. In fact, it’s not even about raising kids here, people trolled Aishwariya for showing affection towards her kid, and even a pure emotion like this was perceived with a filthy mindset.

If they introduce the kid to the media and paparazzi worlds, they are trying to spoil them, when they don’t want to, like Anushka and Virat, then also people come up with some unnecessary arguments. It’s high time, people realise that celebs are normal human beings who deserve their own space. We can crititicise and appreciate their work, but when it comes to their personal life decisions, like raising a child, it is not open for public debate, discussion, or scrutiny.
