5 Tips To Keep Your Skin Hydrated During A Flight
Long flights can leave your skin looking dry, dehydrated, and puffy. With summer right around the corner and a short holiday probably being planned, a whole lot of traveling is the order of the day. Especially for me! So, as excited as I am to get onboard my next flight, I keep getting asked about the best way to deal with on-flight skin damage. Here are 5 ways you can beat the dehydration.

1. Drink Lots Of Water
As basic as this sounds, it’s important to up the water intake. Flights are super dehydrating and drinking alcohol on-board is a big no-no, especially if you don’t want to walk out of the airplane with puffy, dry skin. Top up on lots of water for glowing skin both on and off the flight.
#HauteTip: This is a good wellness tip to keep in mind throughout your trip. It will help your body cope with jet lag as well as different climates.
2. Take It All Off
I mean your makeup, of course! But hey, if you want to get comfy and change into PJs on a flight, then I’m not judging. Just make sure you carry makeup removing towelettes that are effective. And wipe down your seat too while you’re at it… for a no-bacteria zone of your very own!

5. Avoid These Foods
While I’ve already listed alcohol as a major culprit for dehydrated skin on a flight, here are some other food and beverage items to avoid: too much salt, caffeine, and too much sugar. Opt for pre-made snacks that are protein, vegetable or fruit heavy.
