Struggling With Cracked Feet During Sardi Ka Mausam? Try These Tips To Keep Your Feet Moistured And Healthy During Winters

I have dry skin and when I say dry, I mean Thar desert dry. So as you can imagine, moiusturisation is one of the most important steps in my skincare. But what I recently realised is how criminally overlooked our feet are. They go through the most wear and wear of all of body parts. But how many of us actually take the time to engage in some feet care the way we do our face. They might not need attention every day but taking some time out every week will do wonders during the harsh winter months. Here are some tips for some winter feet care to ensure they remain moisturised, healthy and happy.

1. Soak In Warm Water

A warm water soak every week can maintain the health of your feet and keep them free of cracks. Regular soaks make it simple to remove the hard skin that would otherwise accumulate on your heels and feet, making them look rough and unkempt.

2. Massage with oil

It is crucial to frequently massage your feet with oil if you have a propensity for them to be dry and cracked. A foot massage with oil will soften the rough skin and improve the area’s blood flow.

3. Castor Oil

Castor oil does wonders to moisturise and soften your feet. Castor oil quickly penetrates the skin at a deep level and is rich in vitamins and nutrients. Thus,, t softens the skin and aids in moisture restoration.

4. Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that protects skin cells from free radicals generated by the body and from environmental sources. This vitamin works wonderfully to cure and prevent cracked foot by assisting with skin restoration.

5. Scrub Yo Feet

Brown sugar’s fine, delicate grains make an excellent foot scrub. Scrubbing your feet will help get rid of the dead skin cells preserving the health and softness of the skin.

The glycerin you already have will work wonders to keep your feet supple and free of cracks all winter long. Glycerin functions as an excellent treatment for preventing cracks on the foot because of its moisturising and humectant qualities.

7. Wear socks

Socks are underrated AF when it comes to moisturising. You can apply a thick layer of oil (coconut, castor, olive etc) and wear soft socks over it before you sleep. Keep this overnight and you will wake up with soft, moisturised feet in the morning.

So, while you might love your morning winter walks, you can do so while also do so while giving your feet some TLC. Have fun with your crack-free legs this thandi ka mausam.
