This All-Natural Face Pack Is A Blessing In Dry Heat

While girls living along the coast despair as their skincare and makeup refuse to stay put, ladies living in places with dry heat have a different problem to tackle — dry, dehydrated skin. When it’s hot as hell and your skin is parched and angry and clamouring for moisture, I don’t know what is worse: hot and sticky, or hot and arid. Whatever the weather, skincare can never take a backseat.

Even though I’m lazy, I love myself a great DIY. Besides, I also think skin and hair benefit the most from all-natural routines. Honey is an understated ingredient. It is antibacterial and has curative properties. It is a great deep cleanser because it opens up pores and clarifies them, making it great for clearing acne. It is also intensely moisturising.  The following recipe is really soothing and moisturising for parched, dehydrated skin.

Here’s what you’ll need:


Blend the honey, yogurt, vitamin E (you can pop open a vitamin E capsule), and calendula oil in a mixing bowl. Whisk it together and apply it on clean, dry skin. Keep it on for atleast 10 minutes. You can either steam your face with a hot towel and then wipe off the pack, or wash it off with lukewarm water. Don’t forget to follow this face pack with a toner and moisturiser.
