7 Best DIY Face Masks To Moisturize Your Skin During Winter. Skincare Zaruri Hai!

We’re smack in the middle of winter and winter skin woes are as real as they can get. The chilly air and cold temperature can take a toll on your hair as well as your skin. Dull, flaky and dry skin is something we all deal with during winters and just applying and reapplying your moisturizer is not enough to get rid of these winter skin woes. If you want healthy and glowing skin during winters, it’s important that apart from changing your daily skincare routine and moisturising your skin, you also take preventive steps to pamper and treat your skin for these skincare problems. And the best way to do that is to go for some hydrating DIY masks this winter season.

Honey is a great moisturising skincare ingredient. You can mix one spoon of honey with one spoon of avocado paste or lemon juice and apply it to your face. Let it dry for 10 minutes and then wash with warm water. You can apply this moisturising mask two to three times a week.

3. Sheet Face Mask

If DIY masks are not really your thing, you can always pick a sheet mask off the shelf to moisturize your skin. My personal favourite masks are the ones from Tony Moly and Kiehl. Another option is that you can invest in sheets and soak them in some aloe vera gel overnight and keep it in the fridge. You can then use this DIY sheet mask to keep your skin moisturized and supple.

Milk is a great way for people with dry skin to moisturize their faces. Mix one part of milk with two parts of almond powder and some banana pulp (optional) and make a thick paste. Now gently massage it on your face and neck and keep it for up to 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. You can use this pack two to three times a week.

7. Haldi Besan Mask

Mix one pinch of haldi with one spoon of besan and some curd and make a smooth paste. Apply a thin layer on your face and let it dry before you rinse it with warm water. Apply this once a week to keep your skin moisturised.
