This Desi Dessert Is Creamy, Yummy And Easy To Make!

Is it even an Indian wedding, if the buffet counter isn’t laden with delicious treats that are tempting and so, so bad for you? But if you do want an healthier option, find shrikhand. Most of the times it is made with plenty of sugar syrup and food colouring, but this is probably the healthiest thing on the buffet. If you want to indulge and don’t want to fall off the diet completely, make it yourself! Shrikhand is extremely easy to make and you will barely need a few ingredients. One of the key ingredients here is Nestle a+ Nourish Dahi which is healthy and tasty. So let’s get started!

Here are a few things that you will need:


Nestle a+ Nourish Dahi

  • Saffron Strands
  • Lukewarm Milk
  • Pistachio
  • Cardamom Powder
  • Honey

Start off by taking a piece of cloth and placing it on a bowl. Now add 2 cups of Nestle a+ Nourish Dahi to it.

Twist the fabric and squeeze out all the excess water from it and let the curd stay overnight.

Once the hung curd is ready, put it into a bowl.

Add a little bit honey instead of sugar to add some sweetness but ensure this recipe is still healthy! Soak some saffron strands in warm milk, and some pistachios in warm water for a few hours. Now add the saffron, pistachio, and cardamom powder to this and mix it all together well.  

Once you get a good consistency, transfer this into a bowl and garnish it with saffron strands and sliced pistachios.

And there you have it! Delicious, creamy shrikhand.
