Advocate Files Complaint Against Yograj Singh
The said complaint was filed by Advocate Ujjval Bhasin with Chandigarh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kanwardeep Kaur. While conversing with IANS, Bhasin stated that Yograj Singh’s statements are pointed towards women who work and also cook for their families after returning home. The advocate said that he has not gotten any call from the police department regarding the case yet. While talking about the Chandigarh SSP, he praised her and believed that she would take action against Singh after listening to the remark from the video. It is alleged that the statement was meant against women who were wearing a police uniform. Further, Bhasin expressed surprise over the alleged fact that actors were wearing the Chandigarh police uniform and the woman playing that role is Gurbani Kaut, adding that people’s sentiments are attached to that name.
He Plans To Approach The Court!
According to the report, Advocate Ujjval Bhasin shared that if the Chandigarh SSP fails to take any action on the matter, he will approach the court. Further, he also revealed that he has appealed to the Women’s Commission to take suo motu action against Yograj Singh because the statement was pointed at all working women. The advocate doesn’t believe that anyone will consider Singh an idol from now on. According to him, youngsters will stop coming to him for coaching as their mothers won’t send them to him after listening to his comments. Further, he also appealed to the police to lodge an FIR against the makers of Lukkhe over the “objectionable.” Moreover, Yuvraj Singh’s father also appealed to stop the streaming of the web series.
