Kangana Ranaut, Esha Gupta React To Women’s Reservation Bill, Hail “New Age Bharat”!

A country can only progress in all ways if there are adequate steps taken to ensure that women are given the opportunities to succeed. For that, sometimes it is vital for the government to take revolutionary steps to bring about this change. On September 19, on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, India witnessed a historical moment when the Women’s Reservation Bill was introduced in the Parliament. Also known as the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, the bill will ensure a 33 per cent quota for women in Lok Sabha and all other state assemblies. Actress Kangana Ranaut and Esha Gupta were also present for this session and have presented their thoughts on the same.

The Women’s Reservation Bill has currently been introduced in the Parliament and only if both houses pass it, women’s representation in Lok Sabha will see a rise in number. The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his pride in the government and called it a ‘historic day’. Actress Kangana Ranaut was also present for this session of the parliament. In an official statement on Twitter, the Manikarnika actress thanked the BJP MP Anurag Thakur for letting her witness the historic moment of the Women’s Reservation Bill. Hailing this step as one of a kind, Kangana Ranaut wrote “It is the beginning of a new age” and further added her opinion on how this revolutionary bill will make dreams possible for women.
