If reports are to be believed, then Kim Jong Un’s daughter, Kim Ju Ae, is most likely to take charge next. She has also made many public appearances with her father. Read here for more.
Who Is Kim Ju Ae?
Kim Ju Ae is the daughter of North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un, and Ri Sol Ju, and is most likely to follow her father’s footsteps. Not much information about her have been released for the public, and very little is know about it as of now. She made her first appearance in 2022 for a missile launch. It was this appearance that led many to believe that she could be the next heir. Even in 2023, she made many official appearances with her father, and the leader of North Korea, and it continued. She was also present for the the celebrations of China’s victory over Japan in World War II as it was the 80th anniversary. This took place in Beijing and happened in 2025. Kim Ju Ae has also received the title of “Respected” which is only given to the honourable members of the country.

For the unversed, if there is any possibility of Kim Ju Ae leading North Korea as the successor, she would be first woman leader to do so, and would break the chain of male leaders governing the country.
