Mithun Chakraborty has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular accident (Stroke) after a series of relevant tests. He has been shifted to a normal ward after a day in the ICU, and the doctors are currently evaluating the actor’s health.
What Is Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident?
In the early morning of February 10, Mithun Chakraborty complained about uneasiness and weakness in the right upper and lower limbs. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctors immediately carried out a few tests on him. After the checkup, Mithun Chakraborty was diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular accident (stroke). This is a type of stroke when there is a sudden interruption in blood flow to the brain due to a blockage. Cerebrovascular, can be broken into two parts Cerebro “brain” and vascular “blood vessel”. This is a serious condition and needs immediate medical help. This stroke can be deadly too. During this stroke, it is important to get the blood vessels flowing immediately otherwise it can lead to a person’s death too. Fainting, paralysis, severe headache, and cluttered speech are some very common symptoms of the stroke.
