The social media feed is filled with multiple horrifying sights of the students’ protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party. The confrontation between the students and the Delhi Police turned violent. However, many celebrities have extended their support to the youth. In fact, Shabana Azmi was on the ground with the students. Amid these visuals, a video of a NASA astronaut visiting the protest site has also surfaced on social media, although there is no fact to it. Read here for more about it.
Was Sunita Williams At Jantar Mantar Protest Site?
The video claiming that the NASA astronaut Sunita Williams was at the Jantar Mantar protest site to support the students surfaced on Twitter. However, the videos have now circulated all over social media. There is, in fact, no truth to this. The Sunita Williams video claiming that she was at the CJP protest site is from the astronaut’s visit to the Kerala Literature Festival that took place in January. If you look closely, Sunita Williams can also be seen wearing an i-card that has KLF written on it. She can be seen escorted by the police as well.
The social media platform Instagram is now informing you that the video shows false information if you click the Sunita Williams video. Many fake videos of Naseeruddin Shah have also been circulated on social media.

Celebrities Who Spoke For CJP Protest
Recently, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah shared a strong video expressing anger over police brutality against the students. Many other Indian film actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Hrithik Roshan, Dia Mirza, and more have raised their voices in support of the students.
