Twisha Sharma was from Noida and had shifted to Bhopal to live with her husband and his family in Katara Hills. She was a model and had also featured in many South Indian films. She also made headlines for working with Rashmika Mandanna in The Girlfriend. After the news of her passing came out, it surprised everyone in the industry. Rumours suggest that because she didn’t achieve much success in films, she started working at a multinational company.
Samarth Singh is the son of a retired judge from Bhopal, Giribala Singh. He is also a lawyer by profession and practices in criminal law. While not much is known about him, the latest reports suggest that his mother has already applied for his bail after he absconded. He dated Twisha for a while before marrying her in December 2025, which was attended by many film stars, lawyers, and judges. After this, she moved to Bhopal with him, and reports also suggest that she was pregnant at the time of her demise.
Twisha was found hanging at her husband’s home on May 12, 2026. While there were early reports of sui*cide, her parents claimed there was foul play and that her in-laws claimed that she was “mentally disturbed.” They said that on the night of her demise, everyone was having dinner when she took her phone and went to the terrace and committed su*cide by hanging herself from an iron rod. On the other hand, Sharma’s parents alleged dowry and murder cases against her husband and her mother-in-law. They were also seen protesting outside the CM’s house seeking justice for their daughter.
