You know, I am a huge of Indian reality TV shows even though most of them are scripted ( I said what I said). Well, speaking of Indian reality TV shows, Shark Tank India, yep the business-based show has become one of the most loved reality TV shows and it is back with Season 2. The two judges of the show – Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar recently rectified their mistake and offered funding to two women entrepreneurs who had pitched their business in the previous season. It is so sweet, to be honest!
The first episode of Shark Tank India 2 premiered on Monday. The two entrepreneurs – Uma Jha and Kalpana Jha, who are the co-founders of a pickle and chutney brand got featured in the first episode of the reality show. The two entrepreneurs from Darbhanga had pitched their business in the first season but the judges couldn’t invest in their business.
However, the sister-in-laws grabbed everyone’s attention. So, Namita Thapar and Vineeta Singh decided to surprise the two entrepreneurs. The two judges said that they regretted their decision and they both went to visit them. They offered them Rs. 85 lakhs to support their pickle and chutney business. Sharing the video on her social media account, Namita Thapar mentioned that she never thought that she would travel to Bihar to invest in a pickle company. She called it an emotional and priceless memory.
Furthermore, Vineeta Singh shared that her mother questioned her for not supporting women entrepreneurs and not investing in their company.
