Bhumika Chawla, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher Share Fond Memories With Satish Kaushik On His Birth Anniversary
They all miss him dearly!
Satish Kaushik left a void in the industry and in the hearts of his fans after his demise. His cheery personality and voice are missed dearly by all. He essayed so many different kinds of roles throughout his career. Personally, I remember him for his performances in Scam 1992, and the comedy show Sumeet Sambhal Lega. Also, I was a huge fan of his radio show, Filmi Calendar with Satish Kaushik. April 13 marks the birth anniversary of this legendary screenwriter, comedian and actor, and some of his dearest friends from the industry have remembered him. Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla and Delnaz Irani have shared heartfelt notes on Satish Kaushik’s birth anniversary.

Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram handle to share a sweet video that highlighted his friendship with Satish Kaushik over the years. The video also compiled all the projects that Anil and the late Satish Kaushik shared the screen for. In the caption of the post, he wrote that he wants to write books to pen his feelings about what Satishji meant to him. He also wrote that he wished he could call him once to tell him how lucky he is to have him in his life.

Anupam Kher also shared a video compilation of his best memories with Satishji. He wrote that he got the opportunity to celebrate 48 birthdays with Satish, and he has decided that he will celebrate his birth anniversary on a happy note.

In an interview with PTI, Bhumi Chawla who starred in Tere Naam, which was directed by Satish Kaushik said that the latter was always a happy person. She added that no one very saw him feeling sad or upset, and also she kept meeting him often. Bhumika Chawla also went on to add that Satishji told her about making a film together.

Satish Kaushik breathed his last on March 9, 2023, after he suffered a heart attack. He was 66 years old. Kaushik was in Gurugram to celebrate Holi with his friend Vikas Malu. There are allegations against Malu whose second wife claims he is responsible for Satish’s death.
