On March 9, the entire entertainment industry and the country woke up to the news of actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik’s death. The celebrated actor passed away on Thursday morning due to a heart attack at the age of 66. Bollywood actors including Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chadha, Kareena Kapoor Khan and several others are mourning his death. And now Priyanka Chopra took to social media to share condolences and mourn the actor’s death.

Taking to social media, Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of Satish Kaushik and said that her late father Dr Ashok Chopra and the actor will be talking and laughing like always while adding that he will be missed. Thanking the late actor for making people laugh, Priyanka shared a condolence message with his family.

Earlier actress Richa Chadha also expressed shock after hearing the news of the actor’s death. The actress shared that just a day before they played Holi together and now he’s gone. She went on to reveal that Satish Kaushik was the one to encourage and support her in the industry when she was a newcomer. Kangana Ranaut also called the Satish Kaushik her “biggest cheerleader” and recalled how she felt about directing him in the film Emergency.

According to media reports, actor Satish Kaushik’s close friend Anupam Kher revealed that the actor was at a friend’s place when he felt uneasy and requested his driver to take him to the hospital but he suffered a heart attack en route and passed away. Anupam Kher mourned the death of his best friend of 45 years and said that life will never be the same without him.

Actor Satish Kaushik is a much-celebrated actor and his death is a major loss for the entertainment industry. His contribution to the films will never be forgotten.
