Many politicians have been receiving an alert message on their Apple phones about a possible state-sponsored spyware attack. CPM leader Mahua Moitra was the first politician to report about this on Twitter. She shared screenshots of the message as proof and now many other politicians have raised a similar issue. From Parineeti Chopra’s husband Raghav Chadha to Rahul Gandhi, many people have received the same message on their Apple phones, and they also highlighted the seriousness of their issue in these tweets.

West Bengal’s CPM leader Mahua Moitra shared screenshots of the Apple alert message on her iPhone to highlight the concerning threat. In this tweet, she blamed the opposition party for the alleged spyware attack on her phone.

Soon after Mahua Moitra, actress Parineeti Chadha’s husband Raghav Chadha also shared the same message. In the lengthy note on Twitter, the AAP politician highlighted his concerns about this possible state-sponsored spyware attack. He stated the importance of his phone as an instrument to communicate and discuss strategies with party colleagues for elections and how this alleged spyware attack could become an illegal intrusion into his personal and professional life.

The Rajya Sabha MP also took to her Twitter handle to talk about this raging issue at hand. She called for an investigation on the matter. She also talked about the authentication of the message and that Apple has accepted sending the message to the concerned people.
