North Korea is the most intriguing country in the world for me. The more you know about it, the more surprised you will be. The kind of restrictions that the North Koreans are compelled to follow is just beyond imagination for people who have seen and experienced freedom. Adding to this list of restrictions, there are reports suggesting that the country has banned women from keeping the same name as ruler Kim Jong Un’s daughter, Ju-ae.
Isn’t it like too much? In the rule book for the North Koreans, especially women, another questionable point has been added which does not allow women to have the same name as North Korea’s ruler Kim Jong-Un’s ten-year-old daughter. In fact, the reports that surfaced on this information also tell that the North Korean government has given the women a time span of one week to get their names changed. The news reports also suggest that this information was received from two sources from the country itself.
Well, you will be surprised to know that the citizens are not even allowed to keep their names as their leaders. In fact, men and women are also given a limited number of haircuts that they can opt for, which exclude Kim Jong-Un’s hairstyle. It also said that the citizens are only allowed to watch foreign movies or shows, and do not have many channels on television sets.
Kim Jong-Un has three children, out of which it is said that Ju-ae will most likely take her father’s position in future. The pictures from her first appearance in November 2022 went viral on social media and then she was spotted in the National parade alongside her father.

This new kind of rule for North Koreans can tell us the level of restrictions they might be facing in their own country. The worst is only when one does not have the freedom to make choices! And in the case of women, it just gets worst with time!
