TCS Conversion Case: Accused Nida Khan Finally Arrested After Two Days Of Surveillance. Major Details Revealed

After two days of surveillance, Nida Khan was reportedly arrested in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, inside a flat.

In a shocking news piece today, Nida Khan, who is the main accused in the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) conversion case, was arrested on May 7. In case you don’t know, the police had been searching for her after she was accused of forcible religious conversions at the said company. The authorities reportedly found Nida at a flat in Kaiser Colony in the Naregaon area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. She was allegedly living there with her parents, aunt and brother. Police Arrest Nida Khan After Two Days of Surveillance

As per a report by NDTV, the said flat was under police surveillance for two days before Nida Khan, who was a process associate at TCS, was arrested. Nashik SIT, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Police Commissionerate, and the crime branch made this arrest. Along with revealing this information, the SIT’s official statement mentioned that Nida was being produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for transit remand proceedings. Later, the accused was produced before a Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) at the judge’s house. Then she was taken to Nashik for the legal proceedings and further questioning.

It’s worth mentioning that before this controversy erupted, Nida was reportedly transferred three months ago from the Nashik branch to Mumbai’s Malad and Hiranandani units.

Why Was Nida Khan Arrested In The First Place?

The controversy reportedly erupted when a TCS Nashik’s female employee accused her colleague, Danish Sheikh, of establishing physical relations with her in 2022 along with false promises of marriage while he was already married to someone else. The police report mentioned that Nida Khan was the sister of Danish Sheikh. It was claimed that she had made problematic remarks about the women employees’ faith and also allegedly pressured her to change their religion. The report also mentioned that Nida and another employee, Tausif Akhtar, hid the fact from the women that Sheikh was already married.

Seven more women came and claimed that their senior colleagues harassed them mentally and s*xually as the police began their investigation. It was alleged that the human resources department failed to take any action against their complaints. It is being said that these events happened between 2022 and 2026. Now, the authorities have taken action and arrested 6 men and a woman, the HR head, in relation to the same. When the controversy happened, the company’s statement on X mentioned that Nida was not the HR manager, nor had she been responsible for recruitment. TCS also stated that they had not received any complaints through the internal channels in relation to this matter.
