And we also wanted to have an incredible mentor like Dumbledore. This was only because actor Michael Gambon did an exceptional job of playing this character so well. It is so unfortunate that the great actor is no longer among us. The news of his passing away made headlines on September 28, Thursday and the feeling was like losing a family member. Many actors related to the Harry Potter universe mourned the actor’s death.

Michael Gambol will always be remembered for his role as Professor Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter. The actor passed away on September 28, Thursday and the news was confirmed by his family members. The reason for Michael Gambon’s death at the age of 82 was pneumonia and the actor breathed his last in the hospital. Many Harry Potter actors paid tribute to Michael Gambon and mourned his death. Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who played Harry Potter in his official statement to Variety hailed Micheal Gambon as an actor who enjoyed his work immensely. He further expressed his pride and said it was an honour to have worked with such an incredibly talented actor who also kept his surroundings fun and enjoyable.

The creator of Harry Potter JK Rowling also mourned Gambon’s death on Twitter and expressed her privilege of working with the star who was also a ‘wonderful man’ in her opinion. The author also stated that she had first seen the actor in King Lear, in 1982. She sends her condolences to the family and friends of Michael Gambon.
