Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, And More Harry Potter Stars Mourn Dumbledore Actor Michael Gambon’s Passing

Harry Potter has been an essential part of our childhood, right? We too wished to have a magic wand or go to Hogwarts, only if that existed. And we also wanted to have an incredible mentor like Dumbledore. This was only because actor Michael Gambon did an exceptional job of playing this character so well. It is so unfortunate that the great actor is no longer among us. The news of his passing away made headlines on September 28, Thursday and the feeling was like losing a family member. Many actors related to the Harry Potter universe mourned the actor’s death.

Michael Gambol will always be remembered for his role as Professor Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter. The actor passed away on September 28, Thursday and the news was confirmed by his family members. The reason for Michael Gambon’s death at the age of 82 was pneumonia and the actor breathed his last in the hospital. Many Harry Potter actors paid tribute to Michael Gambon and mourned his death. Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who played Harry Potter in his official statement to Variety hailed Micheal Gambon as an actor who enjoyed his work immensely. He further expressed his pride and said it was an honour to have worked with such an incredibly talented actor who also kept his surroundings fun and enjoyable.

Rupert Grint AKA Ron Weasley also expressed his sadness about Gambon’s passing away. He took to his social media handle and called the star a ‘role model’.

The creator of Harry Potter JK Rowling also mourned Gambon’s death on Twitter and expressed her privilege of working with the star who was also a ‘wonderful man’ in her opinion. The author also stated that she had first seen the actor in King Lear, in 1982. She sends her condolences to the family and friends of Michael Gambon.

Emma Watson who was seen in the role of Hermoine Ganger also took to her social media handle to pay tribute to the actor. Similar to Radcliffe’s thoughts on the late actor, Emma Watson also wrote that he was a person who did not take things very seriously but always surprised everyone by delivering serious moments in Harry Potter exceptionally well. Emma Watson hailed the actor in her post.

For actor Jason Isaacs who played Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter films, Micheal Gambon was an actor who showed him what acting looks like in the film The Singing Detective. The actor cherished his time with him on the Harry Potter set.

Amidst this bad news for Harry Potter, good news also came along,  about actor Bonnie Wright welcoming her first child. Bonnie Wright was also a part of the Harry Potter films in the role of Gunny Weasley gave birth to a cute baby boy on September 19, and the actor made the news official on her social media handle by posting an adorable picture of the baby.
