In a now-viral video, Mansoor Ali Khan can be heard making unsettling comments about Trisha, expressing his anticipation for a bedroom scene in their film and recalling past instances of performing rape scenes. The distasteful nature of his words didn’t just ignite a storm on the internet; it prompted legal action. An FIR was filed against the actor, and he recently faced interrogation by the Chennai Police regarding his derogatory remarks.

Mansoor Ali Khan’s Statement to Chennai Police

In a turn of events, Mansoor Ali Khan appeared for questioning by the Chennai Police and, according to statements accessed by News18, expressed his sentiments on the matter. He conveyed to the police that if Trisha felt hurt by his comments, he, too, was equally pained by the unfolding situation even after Trisha put up a tweet directly calling him out for his comments. Furthermore, Mansoor Ali Khan assured the police that he is willing to cooperate fully with any investigative proceedings related to the case. Earlier he had straight up refused to apologise to Trisha Krishnan and even still he is not apologising rather than he’s saying he is pained too.

When his comments for Trisha went viral and people were bashing him up left and right, he posted a message on his Instagram where he said that he did not even know about this happening and was made aware by his children. He further said that it is just a smear campaign against him before the release of a film. Trisha Krishnan when found out about this video posted on twitter condemning Mansoor Ali Khan and vowed that she would never work with him. Khusbu Sundar, as a member of the National Commission for Women (NCW), raised the issue with the commission. As a result, the NCW has requested the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) to initiate action against the actor. Mansoor Ali Khan has been charged under Section 354A (dealing with sexual harassment) and Section 509 (pertaining to words, gestures, or acts intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) in this case.
