A shocking crime has emerged from Maharashtra, where a woman has been arrested for allegedly planning the murder of her husband. The accused started to execute the plan from July 30 and drugged her husband. However, the man was ultimately rescued, and the wife was quickly taken into police custody. Details About The Incident
According to an NDTV report, the accused, identified as Sharmila Praveen, has been arrested in connection with planning her husband’s murder. Going by the reports, the planning began on July 30, when she mixed sleeping pills in her husband’s juice at night. The woman reportedly also had a square structure of bricks created by the labourers. After her husband became semi-conscious, she also beat him with a bat, and then carried him to the brick structure. When she put him inside and was about to close it, the labourers came to the rescue. As per the report, they informed the police and got the woman arrested immediately.
The victim, Parveen, in his statement said that he was not conscious for two days, and only got up when he realised that the accused was beating him. He further added that when she was pushing him into the pit, the workers arrived and saw his hands move, and immediately informed the police. Praveen’s father filed a complaint against the woman. The victim also demanded strict action against the drugstore owner who gave his wife such a high dosage of pills without any prescription. He also asked for the custody of their children, who were taken by his in-laws right after the incident.
