Jharkhand: Husband’s Kin Kill And Chop 22YO Woman Over Family Issues

After the bone-chilling Shraddha Walker case, where the victim’s live-in partner strangled her and chopped her body into 35 pieces, another similar case has come to light. A 22-year-old woman was killed in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district, and her body was cut into many pieces and disposed off. The victim, identified as Rubika Pahadin, was allegedly killed by her husband Dildar Ansari’s family over a family feud.

As per reports, Rubika was Dildar’s second wife and issues arose when his first wife objected to his marriage with the victim. This led to problems and Dildar’s family apparently decided to take the matter into their hands to solve it. The family members have confessed to killing Rubika.

Rubika’s elder sister spoke to media persons and said that she had a love marriage with Dildar. She also revealed that Dildar told her he was not at home when the crime took place. She also went on to say that she fears for herself and her family members’ lives and demands that Dildar’s kin be ‘hanged’. Investigation reveals that Rubika had moved in with Dildar just a month back.

The finding of a human leg from behind an under-construction site from Anganwadi centre in the Borio Santhali area sparked the investigation late Saturday night. Another body part was found lying in a sack in a nearby close house. Reportedly, Dildar’s family killed Rubika and cut her body into several pieces to throw them in different places to get rid of the evidence.

A medical team has been called in from the district to examine the parts. A sniffer dog’s help was taken to locate the body parts. The cut body parts have been packed and sent to be forensically examined.

This news has sparked outrage on social media with #JusticeForRubika trending on Twitter. People are demanding punishment of the highest order for the perpetrators.

As if murdering people was not bad enough, criminals are now taking it a step ahead by chopping body parts to dispose off the evidence. Clearly, humanity is depleting faster than intended. The Shraddha Walker case is being taken as an example of how to commit crimes, it seems.
