Jacqueline Fernandez Mobbed Outside Delhi Court After Bail Hearing. Will We Ever Learn To Respect Personal Space?

Be it paps or fans, everyone loves their favourite celebrity enough to fawn over them no matter what. Over the years, we’ve seen this trend change for the worse. From quietly asking a celeb for an autograph or to pose for pictures, fans and paparazzi have graduated to mobbing these celebs and invading their personal space in the name of fandom. We witnessed this madness during Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. After the actor’s death, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was investigated and arrested too and during her trips to see the authorities, the actress was often mobbed by paps and let’s not forget how recently, the paps chased Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as the couple was heading home with their new born baby girl. And now, the paps and fans have done it again. Recently, Jacqueline Fernandez was mobbed outside the courtroom in Delhi’s Patiala House Court where she had gone to get bail in the Rs 200 crore extortion case on Tuesday.

In the shocking viral videos that have surfaced online, Jacqueline Fernandez can be seen stepping out of the courtroom and the second she does so, she is mobbed by a crowd of paparazzi, journalists and fans too. Escorted by her legal team, the actress can be seen leaving the court premises after being granted bail in the Rs 200 crore extortion case, in connection with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, and as soon as she steps outside the court, the place turns a circus as camerapersons, journalists, fans and bystanders attempt to get close to her and media persons begin questioning her about the bail hearing and the case. The actress can be seen navigating through the crowd as they surround her, with the help of police and her legal team. Take a look at this video shared by the news agency ANI.

It is truly a shame that the media, paparazzi and fans do not know where to draw the line when it comes to a celeb. In no way is it okay for fans or media to go after a celeb like this and mob her even if it is to get a few shots of her outside the court or get her to answer a few questions. Nothing can justify this behaviour and it’s time we stop entertaining it and start calling out people for evading the personal space of a celeb in the name of fandom or for publicity. To hound the actress like this is completely unacceptable and unwarranted.
