Fans of the Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor are devasted when the news of her passing was revealed. The courageous and fierce musician was 56 years old when she breathed her last but the cause of her untimely demise is not yet revealed. Condolences came pouring in from fans on Twitter who are remembering Sinéad O’Connor and the musical legacy that she left behind. Amongst her fans are Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shekhar Kapur who have taken to social media to condole Sinéad O’Connor’s death.

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s condolences
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the news of Sinéad O’Connor’s demise on her Instagram stories. Remembering the late singer, Kareena wrote in the caption, “Nothing compares to you, Legend” followed by a rainbow and a star emoji. Nothing Compares 2 U is a hit song sung by the late singer which is from the I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got album.
Shekhar Kapur’s condolences
Shekhar Kapur took to his Twitter handle to condole Sinéad O’Connor’s death. He called Sinéad one of the most talented pop stars and wrote that her passing is quite tragic. He further added that she lived a troubled life and that she was not afraid to show pain through her songs. Kapur also went on to write that this made her own of the most ‘powerful and moving’ singers of her generation.

More about Sinéad O’Connor
Sinéad O’Connor was quite vocal about politics and spoke about all that was happening in Palestine. Her SNL performance was a turning point in her career because she tore the then Pope John Paul II’s picture during her performance to protest against the child abuse happening within the walls of the Church.
