Among some of the coolest content creators I follow on social media, my favourite remains Shraddha, whose Instagram handle is @AiyyoShraddha. She is one of those creators whose content is not just funny, it is intelligent as well! In her recent video series where she assumes the role of an IT engineer who calls herself a ‘techie’. In the latest video, Shraddha as the techie, she rants about getting laid off by her company. The video comes against the backdrop of the massive layoffs happening at Google, Facebook and Twitter, it seems. The video made by Shraddha has gone viral on social media with celebrities commenting on it and RPG Group chairman, Harsh Goenka has shared it on Twitter as well!

In her video, Shraddha rants about how easily employees are getting laid off and not a single thought is given to their ordeal. She starts the video by saying that she is feeling bad about the HR started hiring keeping the motto of diversity and inclusion in mind and now, with the layoffs, they turned to adversity and expulsion! Further ahead in the video, she talks about how the company focused on team-building activities but did not do enough to retain the team.

The video has resonated with a lot of people online who are showering praises on Shraddha for the brilliant and intelligent script. She has touched on all the points going through the mind of someone who must have been laid off recently. The video was shared by Harsh Goenka on his Twitter handle. Ritesh Deshmukh also dropped a comment on Goenka’s tweet by writing, “Fabulous!” Whereas Terence Lewis and the co-founder of boAt, Aman Gupta have also appreciated the video.

The video was a hard-hitting truth about the hiring and laying off process these days. Even when she was talking about receiving office merchandise, her tone was sarcastic, but not offensive. Making entertaining videos with a dash of lessons and morals is Shraddha’s forte, and her videos always hit home!
