The fact that getting justice for crimes done against women has become so difficult should be a serious matter of concern for the authorities. Currently, the women in Haryana have raised their voices against such an injustice. The women have started a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar against former Haryana Sports Minister, Sandeep Singh who was accused of sexual assault.

The former Sports and Youth Minister of Haryana, Sandeep Singh faced sexual assault allegations by a female athlete earlier this year. However, there were no strict actions taken against him and there was no concrete result of the investigation was carried out. As a repercussion, the minister was simply removed from his post as the sports minister but continued to be a member of the state cabinet.
