In an exclusive conversation with HT City, LizLaz shared how the whole situation felt unreal. She said waking up to so much attention was crazy because she never expected anything like this. Many people reached out to her directly, and the German influencer was amazed at how quickly the situation went viral.

LizLaz is actually a big fan of Virat Kohli. Her interest in him and cricket began during her long trip to India last year. She came to visit her best friend in Bangalore for just two weeks but liked the country so much that she stayed for many months. During her stay, she travelled to many beautiful places, including Goa, Mysore, Coorg, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and parts of North India.
It was during this trip that she discovered cricket for the first time. Born in South Africa and raised in Germany, where football is the main sport, she had never followed cricket before. Watching the IPL with her Bangalore friends changed that. She quickly became a Royal Challengers Bangalore fan and found Virat Kohli’s style on the field very exciting.

When asked if Virat unliking the picture disappointed her, LizLaz gave a kind reply. She said she felt a little sorry for him as the small mistake became such big news.
