Since the last few days, the internet has been filled with clips of the Rs 370 guy aka Himanshu Jangra’s problematic date story that he spilled on Pranit More’s stand-up show. After the immense outrage, the founder of the company where he worked, Vivek Vishwakarma, took to social media to reveal that Himanshu had been terminated. Now, speaking with the media, the CEO once again defended his decision for taking this massive step!
Founder Defends Why He Fired Himanshu Jangra
During his conversation with India today, Vivek Vishwakarma stated that he didn’t pay much attention to the viral clip from Pranit More’s show that featured Himanshu Jangra at first. After the clip became a huge controversy, he didn’t want to get involved since it happened outside of the office. While talking about Himanshu, the founder highlighted that he had a totally different personality at the workplace and also called him a good employee. However, after this controversy dominated the internet, the founder revealed that the company started receiving negative comments, and some clients didn’t want to associate with the company. He reasoned that it is a design and marketing company, so most of the clients come through social media, and that impression was being affected. Further, Vivek also stated that Himanshu too was not comfortable and had stopped coming to the office two days before when he got to know about that, adding that it was a business decision for his brand.

What Else Did He Say?
Further, Vivek Vishwakarma also blamed Pranit More. The ceo stated that the vibe of the standup show was like that as it was called “the Ashlil Show.” He clarified that he was not taking Himanshu’s side but for a 22-year-old who’s coming from a small town in Haryana, seeing all those things and him trying to be an influencer amplified that, adding that Pranit also boosted him. Vivek stated that the comedian should have cut him then and there.
The fact is that if the younger generation, especially if a 22-year-old thinks that paying for the date means they have the “right” to get intimate with a woman is especially problematic. One’s ambition to become an influencer or being from a small town should not be an excuse to treat women badly or have a crass mentality.
