Flying Kiss Row: Mahua Moitra Criticises Smriti Irani, Says “Why Was She Silent During Wrestler’s Protest”
She questioned her priorities!

The ongoing Monsoon session in the Parliament is making various headlines. Especially, the Union Child And Women Development Minister Smriti Irani’s statements on Rahul Gandhi’s “Flying Kiss” during the proceedings of the house had grabbed many eyeballs. The minister’s statement was not well-received by the West Bengal MP Mahua Moitra. She in return slammed Smriti Irani and questioned her priorities as a minister after the Pariliament’s session. The DCW chief Swati Maliwal also commented on the flying kiss row with a post on Twitter.
Smriti Irani’s Comment
While giving her speech during the Monsoon session in the Parliament, the Union Child and Women Development Minister Smriti Irani called out Rahul Gandhi’s “Indecent Act” in the house. She criticised the Congress minister for giving a flying kiss during the no-confidence motion debate that took place on Wednesday.

Mahua Moitra’s Response
West Bengal MP Mahua Moitra is known for her savage comments and fearless statements as a minister, especially if it is about crimes against women. During her interaction with the media. the MP slammed Smriti Irani for not getting her priorities straight as the Child And Women Welfare Minister. Mahua Moitra criticised Smriti Irani for staying silent during the wrestlers’ protest in which the BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was the prime accused. She took a jibe at Smriti Irani and sarcastically questioned her priorities.

Swati Maliwal’s Comment
The Delhi Commission For Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal took to her Twitter handle to react to the flying kiss controversy between Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani. Her comment was quite similar to that of Mahua Moitra. She too bashed Smriti Irani for making “Flying Kiss” an issue when a man accused of molestation was sitting two rows behind her. She shared a video to remind Union Minister Smriti Irani of all the horrible crimes against women that have happened in India within the last few months.
