Female CEO Brings Baby To Workplace, Twitter Say It Reeks Of Privilege

There is no doubt that working women have a lot on their plates, but once they embrace motherhood, their responsibilities increase. Working mothers often have to deal with the ‘double burden’. However, some of them do enjoy certain privileges that come with their position. Recently, a female CEO shared a post where she revealed that she brought her baby to work and people reminded her of the perks she has as a CEO of the organisation. Well, they are not wrong, TBH!

On January 6, Radhika Gupta, the Managing Director and CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund shared a post on Twitter. In the tweet, Gupta shared a picture of her baby boy and mentioned how she managed to take care of her infant while working. In the picture, the baby is playing on a mat that is next to a desk in the office. The CEO mentioned that she brings her baby to the office when both parents have to work and there is no help available. She further added that people ask her how is she going to make a mom’s and CEO’s life work together and mentioned that it requires a little planning, a lot of patience, and a problem-solving attitude and that’s how things work out. In her tweet, she also said that her baby boy’s laugh does rest of the work.

Many people praised Radhika Gupta and her dedication towards her work but seem like some Twitter users are not happy with her tweet. They mentioned that it is a privilege of being the CEO of the company. They added that other employees, especially women, don’t have the choice to bring their kids to the office.
